The
Mala Pariz Hote
(Little Paris Hotel) is situated in a well-known Sumava mountain resort
Spicak-Zelezna Ruda in the altitude of 850 meters above sea level, oni
5 km from
a border erossing with Germany. This
area has
always been very popular
due to
its environment which is the most healthful in the Czech Republic.

The
Hotel is located at
the foot of the biggest ski resort on the Czech side of Sumava, Spicak.
The
advantageous location of the hotel predetermines it as a basefor aetive
recreatio all year long, especially because the natural preservation
areas of
Certovo and Cerne jezero (Devil's Lake and Black Lake), Kralovsky Hvozd
(Royal
Forest) and the Pancir Hill are nearby. Lovers of downhill skiing and
snowboarding may take advantage of the ski ground Spicak (altitude of
1,202
nwten above sea level) which is situated right next to the hotel. The
ski
resort Velky Javor (altitude of 1,456 meters above sea level) may be
also used
for skiing. Both the locations have slopes of va ous difficulty levels,
are
equipped ivith snom guns and are standardized in compliance with the
FIS for the
purposes of organizing the World Skiing Cup. Furthermore, there is
another
possibillity of skiing on the slope of the Pancir Hill which equipped
with a
chair lift, and in Zelezna Ruda where it is possible to ski on a lit
slope in
the evening. |

The
Mala Pariz Hotel went
into operation at the end of 1997. The goal of the owner was to make a
smaller
luxurious family hotel for demanding clients 6 conjortable two-bed
rooms are
available, the capacity of them may be increased by two extra beds
each. All
the rooms have a hallway with some storage room, an individual bathroom
with a
toilet (equipped with hygienic products, towels, hair-dryers).
Moreover, you
may enter the balcony from the room with a TV set and a satellite
receiver. A
set of chairs and sofa and a conference table will offer a comfortable
relaxation in privacy to the guests. A cozy restaurant with a stylish
bar, a
lobby, outdoor sitting, a storage room for ski equipment, a car park
and a

summertime, the hotel
is an ideal starting pointfor hiking trips in the surroundings. The
nearby
Cerne jezero (Block Lake) is ihe largest glacier take in the Czech
Republie. A
beautifull panoramic view is to be seen an range crossing Pancic -
Prenet where
you can get by means of a chair cable alt nen the sky is clear, you can
even see
contours of the Alps. Most of the paths are weil maintained and Sumava
hills
are rounded so that the paths in the woods may be used by older people
and
families with children. People interested in cycling may use a network
qf
indicated bicycle paths and may rent all the equipment for cycling in
the place
